Joey is a retired Law Enforcement Officer and former Marine who served one tour overseas. During his time in Law Enforcement, he handled 4 Police K9's and became a nationally accredited K9 Trainer. Joey is a second-generation Law Enforcement Officer and a second-generation Police K9 Trainer. He has a passion for working with Dogs and would love to help you with your K9 needs. 

Class includes board and train for basic obedience and aggressive behavior correction, Client must provide food for that time frame. We will keep your dog on our site and our trainers will work with your dog daily. You will then be enrolled in our 6 week class where you will come once a week for an hour session to learn how to handle and maintain your dogs Training at no additional cost.  

Total is $700-$1000 a week depending on what issues we are fixing, call or email for a free quote!

Obedience Training 

- 75$ a session (dogs 6 months or older)

o Session includes 

§ Heel/Sit/Down/ Stay/Recall

§ 1 hour power point on K9 behavior and genetics 

- 50$ a session (Puppies10 weeks to 5 months) 

o Session included 

§ Heel/Sit/Down/Stay Recall 

§ 1 hour Power Point on K9 behavior and genetics 

- 100$ a session (Aggressive behavior correction) 

o Sessions are designed to diagnose and correct aggressive behaviors. $25 up charge for any traveling I have to do to diagnose issues (Like in home training) 

- 25$ a session 

o Weekly maintenance training is offered to all of the graduates from any of the above classes to help maintain all skills that were taught. 

- Basic Brush out, Wash and Dry (with Deodorizing shampoo)

- Ear Mite, Flea and Tick inspection, Nail trim, ear cleaning 

- Doggie Perfume/Cologne Application 

- Small Dogs $35

- Large Breed Dogs $50

Add on’s 

o Nose and paw balm/butter application $5 

o Anal Gland Expression $20 

- Basic Trim Ears, foot pads, tail, face $15

- Full Hair cut 

o Small dogs 35$  

o Large Dogs 50$ 

Early Drop Off - 7a-8a 10$ - 8a-9a 5$

 Late Pickup - 4p-5p $5 - 5p-6p 10$ 

- Anytime after 6pm is 10$ an hour on the top of the hour

 I recently took my new puppy Zeus to Alpha Paws Grooming and Training in Mulberry, Indiana, and I couldn't be happier with the experience! Joey is incredibly knowledgeable and patient.  Everything! It was the first visit for Georgia Sue and Tater Salad. He was fantastic with my dogs and gave them extra TLC. I couldn't be happier than I am with the care, service and the dogs loved it!! 

We had recently adopted two pit mixes and needed them to have good obedience skills. We didn't want to train using clickers or having to have treats on hand. Our older girl (Fiona) was having issues with another dog in the home so we decided to board and train her. She was there for 3 weeks. Currently we have both going to weekly training to introduce obedience to our younger pup and continue enforcing obedience in the older. During the board and train, Joey communicated with us often to update us on Fiona's progress, we received videos of her training sessions, and we were able to visit her when we wanted. The improvement in her obedience is notable. Going to weekly training with our younger girl, she is making so much progress after only two weeks! It is clear Joey has experience being around dogs, loves doing what he is doing and is very good at it. If our girls are resistant to learning a command, we have seen him try different approaches to get the  word to click in their mind. We have complete trust in his approach and his judgement and have not regretted a single second of choosing Joey to help us train our pups. HIGHLY recommend! 

 Such an easy drop off and pick up. My Ruger went in for bath grooming and nail trim and he did amazing. 3 days later and he still smells as good as he did when I picked him up. Joey does amazing work. Definitely be a returning Custome 

He did such an awesome job on my matted dog, was very impressed will be going to him from now on and I would recommend him to anyone!!
